    Technology to be Pushed Forward

    The city government has made known to the public measures to push forward technology innovation and application. By 2010, the added value of high-tech industry is to rise at an estimated RMB60 billion, which will account for 35% of total industrial added value. By optimizing the industrial structure and support by government funds and policy, businesses involving high technology and energy-saving science are to be greatly boosted and contribute much to key economic growth. Cooperation in the field of software outsourcing, digital media, informatization, telecommunications, new material and natural medicine will be improved and new industrial chains take shape.
